mike: well.
mike: it is a super long story
mike: aborted night out turned into night in with my flatmates and i playing rocky on the gamecube, with them drinking also
swifty: (nods)
mike: as the night went on they drank more and one, marcus, began playfully slapping the other, gav
swifty: uhoh
mike: this continued until the other flatmates returned, at which point marcus got hyper and ran around the flat
swifty: haha.
mike: my other drunken flatmates were egging him on, spraying beer around the place
mike: and then marcus started attacking gav, hitting him in the face and cutting him
swifty: WHAT
swifty: JESUS
mike: the flat fills with about 15 people who are trying to keep marcus away from gav, and wondering what is going on
swifty: oh my god
mike: i try and talk to gav, who is understandably annoyed that marcus attacked him for no reason, and to marcus, who has calmed down after a while and wants to shake hands with gav
mike: both are very drunk
mike: so things are not going to get sorted out
mike: marcus writes gav a note to apologise, but that isn't enough to gav who felt marcus was like a brother to him, and he is still annoyed
swifty: good lord
mike: marcus then packs a bag of clothes and leaves the flat, running down eight flights of stairs to the ground floor, running out of the building at 3 in the morning
swifty: what!
mike: it's also raining
swifty: good lord
mike: i go to a mutial friend's flat and talk to her, asking if he went there
mike: he did not, and she calls him to find out where he is, making sure not to let on that i have told her what is happening
mike: he doesn't know where he is, he sounds upset, and then he hangs up on her
swifty: oh man
mike: that's pretty much what has happened so far
swifty: that's ridiculous
mike: i know.
mike: nothing like this has happened before
mike: in the whole last year we've been together
swifty: (frown)
mike: yes, there is much of that.
