so today i did something a little impulsive1 and grabbed myself one of those gamecube thingies, a couple of controllers, a memory card and a couple of games - pikmin and super smash bros. melee. it's pretty good. i'm getting mario sunsine soon, and probably metroid prime, i've reserved a copy of the new zelda for when that comes out, and i'll probably import animal crossing2. there's a fair few games out i really want, actually. it's strange. if anyone knows where i can get cheap gamecube imports, let me know.
i've been working though gta: vice city trying to get 100% completion with my flatmate marcus, and it's going slowly. we spent all night getting the hidden packages, now we've just got to do, um, everything else.3 it's nice having a task like that, although getting the gamecube is going to throw that way off.
i'm going away on saturday til tuesday, i won't be able to get online til then. i haven't really been online for more than a few minutes at a time the last week or so, but i've been on regularly. i drew some little cartoon people, and i've had a good reception to the ones i've done so far, so if you want me to do you4 then send me a photo and i'll give it my best shot! i want more subjects.
by the way, for all one of you who has an rss feed from my site, apparently i have some sort of illegal character on there somewhere, so it won't display it. so you can't read this. so uh, yeah.
my birthday's on the 30th of april, so, you know. amazon wishlists are just thrown around these days, but i know there's some really cool people out there who like buying presents and this is the only way they can. i'm not saying do it, but i'd appreciate it. if you don't want to amazon me something, then my address is in the contact section. i would love some stuff that's been made by people, mainly because i love making stuff for people5.
i'm off to either gamecube some more, or read fight club. hmm, decisions decisions..
1 though not as impulsive as a friend of mine who went on a night out, came back drunk and bought a playstation 2 on amazon, but still.
2 doug was meant to be getting this for my birthday, but he can't now, so i guess i better do it myself.
