so i'd completely forgotten that august has 31 days. weird. i really need to get out and do something, i'm getting cabin fever and it's my own fault.
i'm going to work on mixtapes. i have a few i need to send out, and considering the amount of time it took me to make alice's, i better get a move on if they're going to get out anytime soon.
my mind is going, i can feel it.
i might do some drawings today, but then again i might go out and read or do something offline. is it a bad thing that i talk to a lot of my friends online? i feel compelled to do things away from the computer to meet with parents wishes and stuff. hmph.
i was going to post some space invaders here, but i decided not to. another time, perhaps.
lainey and i now have my sexy face staring back at us from our desktops. i'd think it was kinda creepy if i didn't love the picture so much.
it's better than some of the other pictures of me out there on the net, i can tell you. you know what i'm talking about.

well, for those of you reading via the rss feed, chatter has been updated with a couple of new posts.
i'm considering allowing more people to post to chatter. currently it's just me posting, which i thought i'd do as a little side area of my site, which explains why everyone's talking to me. but some people have expressed an interest in being on there more, so i'll think about it.
i just don't want it to go the way of maim and shaolim, two group projects i was a founder of, which did the same thing and people lost interest. if it's just me, i have myself to blame.
oh, ben, if you're still reading this as custodian of the yo la tengo late-summer weblog challenge, be sure to note that i also post to the wapflame column to the right. i don't want to drop out on a technicality. not that i anticipate dropping out of this contest, no. i'm in it to win it.

oh man, there is nothing like fast, rockout songs to get me feeling good. it's at times like this i want to learn how to play guitar.

i'm not thinking about things that i can't ha ve any effect on, i'm working on what i can do to make myself happy now. or at least that's what i'm trying to do.
someone suggest something for me to draw. any comment that gets left here i'll attempt, and i'll put all my efforts on here. if you suggest something super complicated i probably won't be able to draw it that well, but i'll show you what i did.

i'm going to change this site, strip the design down. i want to be able to post smaller posts without having an elaborate header. i'll need to create some sort of incentive to comment too, because the stats for this page mean nothing to me. i don't know how many hits i get or how many people bother to vist again and again. so i'm toning this down so i don't feel so bad when i get ignored.
