It's been a while since I last posted here, I've been a little busy, but to be honest I just haven't thought about posting. Still, I totally beat Swifty and Matt, so it's not all bad. I'm just third worst weblog.

The obligatory list of things part of the post!

· excited about March
· still plodding along at work, still spending time doing other stuff while I'm there
· talking to Buffy a lot is awesome
· started drawing stuff again, pretty proud of the new style that I have in this latest one.
· went to see The Spongebob Squarepants Movie1
· became Space Pope.

OK, maybe that last one didn't happen. But there's not so much going on now, so I'm allowed to jazz things up. I've been watching the latest season of 24 on Sky One, and I know I'm only 4 episodes in, but I'm not really feeling it so much. Maybe it's because I watched the first two seasons with Gav, and he's been working a lot recently so I haven't been able to watch the last two episodes with him. Marcus seems to take offence at the series even being on television, so he goes off to sulk in his room while it's on, leaving me sitting around on my own. Oh well. I'm sure I'll get into it.

Lost, on the other hand, I am very into. This last episode wasn't so great, because it didn't really advance things on the island much, it was mainly Sawyer back-story. And as I am not of the screaming fan-girl persuasion, I didn't really care for it too much. There's a couple more episodes coming up, but then they're taking over a month off before showing any new episodes! What the hell? You'd never get away with that in the UK. Do they need the extra time to catch up filming, or do the networks over there just not care about letting people go through a story? A month is way too long to go without a new episode. UGH.

Tonight? I watch Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid and look forward to the weekend.

hey people, i'm back.

many1 of you must have been worried sick, and i assure you you had good reason. not only was i stricken with an ailment worse than death itself2, but i have also.. well, okay. i was just not posting. but i really was sick.

three things:
· i have the ability to download music again. this is just lovely!
· there is a new episode of lost on tonight! hurrah! the dvd is apparently due in september. must visit buffy around that time.
· amazing conversations with a wonderful person3
· resident evil 4 is pretty fun to play. i like video games.
· earlier on at work, everyone in the office simultaneously left their desks to get hot drinks.
· this has spilled way out over three things, so i'll stop.

there's been a slew of birthdays recently for my flatmates, doxy and john had theirs last wednesday and friday respectively, and martin had his a week or so before. it'll be gav's 21st towards the end of april, and mine on the 30th.

my 21st birthday is coming up pretty soon.

i haven't really thought about it too much. i don't know whether this is going to make me an adult or not. i know i'm technically an adult now, at least in my country4, but i like being fairly young. i guess i have to move on though. to be honest, the biggest problem i'm having is deciding what to do for it. hm.

these posts never seem to go anywhere other than on some stream-of-conciousness tangent-filled ride, do they? well, at least you're reading it. not that i particularly know whether i want people to read this or not.

i need to practice cooking. remind me to get some ingredients in the next time i go shopping.

1 read: "none"
2 some sort of stupid intestinal pain that was sort of like a stomach ache, but lower.
3 such as between two-thirty and three-thirty a.m. last night.
4 OH SNAP AMERICA. I CAN DRINK.

don't worry, this isn't being abandoned.

i have a couple of designs worked out. one is seemingly better than the other, but it probably involves me installing movable type. so that's not going to happen. i'll work something out.

things have been pretty slow in the evenings recently. i've been sat around watching the lord of the rings film, one disc a night.

(here, i would just like to point out that it kind of grates on me that people still rave on about the films after all this time. yes, they were good. no, you don't have to scream and be all stalkerlike when you see some of the actors in other things. yes, peter jackson did a good job. no, this doesn't mean king kong will be any good. also, please stop going on about dominic monaghan just because you think he is cute and you loved watching him in the films. also, they are not really hobbits. don't call them that anymore.)

okay, end rant. phew. i like having my website where i can say things like that, and people can't tell me not to.

this office is so cold that my toes freeze while i'm working.

it's time to go home now, but before i do i'll point people at flickr again. go comment on my photos, because i like that. and i need the attention.
